My name is Chris and I am a father of 5 and grandfather of 3. I am proud of my family and its closeness as family means a lot to me. I also am proud to be known as the youngest grandfather in my circle of friends. As I was a grandfather at the age of 38 and now being 47 I love being still the youngest in my family to have this honor. I have been told that I don't look 46 so I am told

I have been in the South Florida since October 2003. A native Michigander and later a moved to Ohio I find South Florida to be home. I have a great set of friends...especially in the bear community. I have been a cook since I was young and grew up in a small farming community. An active member of the Michigan Future Farmers of America, and also part of the local community farmers market each week. While in High school I played right tackle on the football team, was a shotput and diskus thrower in track, a member of the Chorale and Band (played percussion) and also a big class clown. I graduated in 1979 and moved on to a carear in the field of Hotel Restaurant Management at Michigan State University where I graduated in 1984 with a BA. I also hold a degree from the American Culinary Institute.
Employed in restaurant business for over 20 years -- the last 10 years at head chef at a private upscale country club.

But in 2001 it all stopped with an accident in which my family was informed that I might not make it thru the night and if I did would not be able to walk again. But, I was determinded to prove them wrong and exactly 18 months later I walked with the use of the cane. I thank my partner at the time for his devotion and love to see me thru it. Even though we arn't a couple anymore we shared 9 1/2 wonderful years and he helped mo to be a better person in many ways.

In February 2006 I was diagnosed with Luekemia and have struggling with it..but thanks to special friends like the members of the South Florida Lambda Chorale and my close friends I am making thru this time. I am so happy to part of a close knit family of friends.

I am so happy that in April of 2007 I met this wonderful guy who you all know on here at barry..well from our lst date on we have been pretty much inseperable..They say when you meet MR Right you no it and well I have. Thanks barry for coming into my life and making me healthy and whole. I love you sexy
